Meet Your Coach
30 Years in the Room
Where Decisions Get Made.
I didn't come to coaching from the outside. I came from the inside — from decades of leading, building, transforming, and, yes, sometimes failing alongside the people I worked with. That experience is what I bring to every coaching relationship

What You Can
Expect From Me
I'm not a coach who operates from a script. Every client I work with is different, and I bring my full self — and full attention — to every session.
What I've found, after more than 30 years of leading and coaching in one of the most complex, regulated industries in the world, is that the challenges leaders and individuals face are rarely as different as they seem on the surface. The executive navigating a boardroom conflict and the person trying to find their footing after a major life change are both asking the same fundamental questions: "Who am I in this moment? What do I really want? And what's getting in my way?"
I help people answer those questions — honestly, rigorously, and with a level of care that I hope you'll feel from our very first conversation.
My Story
My career in healthcare began more than 30 years ago on the front lines — managing a 30-person life insurance claims team and learning firsthand what it means to lead people through high-pressure work, complex decisions, and constant change.
Over the decades that followed, my roles grew in scope and complexity. I led project portfolios. I directed enterprise-wide technology transformations. I managed teams across multiple offices. I led program management to build new Medicare Advantage markets from the ground up. And through it all, the thread that ran through everything wasn't process or technology — it was people.
I became fascinated by what made some leaders thrive while others with equal talent plateaued. I saw what happened when emotional intelligence was missing from the room — and what became possible when it was present. I started coaching leaders and teams informally long before I ever called it coaching, because I found that the most meaningful work I did was helping people see themselves more clearly and move forward with more confidence.
In 2021, I made it official. I pursued my Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential through the International Coaching Federation and became a certified EQi 2.0 and EQ 360 practitioner — adding the science of emotional intelligence to the decades of real-world leadership experience I'd already accumulated.
Today, I serve as Chief of Staff to a Chief Medical Officer at a major healthcare payer, leading strategic planning and operational integration for a 1,200-person clinical organization. And I run Focused Decisions because I believe that coaching — done well — changes not just careers, but lives.

Beyond The Credentials
A proud Pittsburgher through and through, I live here with my family — the people who keep me grounded and remind me why the work I do matters. When I'm not coaching or leading teams through change, you'll find me with my nose in a book or planning the next trip somewhere I've never been. I believe deeply that curiosity — about people, ideas, and the world — is what keeps us growing at any age.
